Cannot install this hardware logitech

I will be happy to help you with this issue. Method 1: I would suggest you to follow the steps to run the hardware troubleshooter from the link and check if it helps. Method 2: I would also suggest you to try uninstalling and reinstalling the USB controllers and check if the issue persists. Device Manager opens. Note You might have to scroll down the list to find this item. After the computer starts, Windows will automatically scan for hardware changes and reinstall all the USB controllers that you uninstalled.

If the USB port recognizes the device and if you can use the device, you are finished. Hope this helps. Try the above steps and get back to us for further assistance.

We will be happy to help you. Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. The problem stays the same.

No driver available for this device. It is very strange. Hi David Thank you for your replay. I tried both but without any luck. MK and unify. Hi I just figured out that a USB hub, which was working before, doesn't work anymore. In the device manager it is listed as "unknown device". It seems I have some kind of general USB problem? Has someone any ideas?

I already tried the solution from David. This time I also tried it in safe mode. Then you can check whether the problem has been resolved. Another option is you can try to boot your computer in safe mode and then check whether the problem is resolved. For booting your computer in safe mode you can select the start button and then select the restart button. When your computer restarts you can press the F8 button and then from the advanced boot options you can select the safe mode and press enter.

Then you can check whether the problem exists. If the problem does not exist in safe mode then the problem can be caused by some other program. Then you will need to uninstall each program and then check which program is causing the problem. After that you can reinstall the other programs. Then you can restart your computer and then you ca press F8. Then in that folder you can open the common files folder. There you can open the Logitech folder and then in that you can find the file LfMouHid.

You can then save the file then you can check whether the problem has been solved. If still your problem is not solved you can try to install anew driver which is compatible with the operating system you are using. You can download the latest version of the driver from the Logitech website and then you can install it on your computer. Before installing the new driver you should uninstall the old driver.

For that you can select the start button and then you can select the control panel and then you can select the device manager. Then in the device manager you can select the mouse and then you can right click and then select uninstall driver. Then you can run the installation program for the new driver.

Then you can check whether the problem is resolved. Thanks for your feedback. This thread is locked. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread.
