Posted November 14, There is another way which don't require renaming of files. Now change the value of this little variable to the name of GOG. Click Start Menu in Windows and use "Run Write "regedit", push [Enter]. This way You can add any game to Your list that is supported by Xfire but program can't detect it correctly. There should be plenty of help threads there, especially in the technical section of the forums. I personally find XFire more usefull just running in the back ground and having me and my soc mates on voice chat. Switching windows is a hassle especially when you are hunting. And it keeps nice stats of my ingame time Cheers Richard ingame Siam.

It's not the redist, if that wasn't installed then LOOT wouldn't launch at all, and your crash is probably just because you're trying to do things that LOOT doesn't expect anyone would try to do if it can't detect any installed games I don't see you saying anywhere what specifically you're doing to cause the crash.

I didn't think it was an issue with the redist because if it is required than LOOT shouldn't launch at all given if there are aqueduct checks for all required dependencies when the app is first launched.

Once I get home today I will try running the Skyrim launcher and check to see if that adds the registry key. The strange thing is, I have launched Skyrim multiple times with from the launcher. My INI files are in their respective directories. I completely uninstalled LOOT 0.

Thank you so very much! I also like the enhancement request you opened. It would help describe the issue to the user so they would know what it is and how to remedy it.

I was searching through the issues here on Github and searching for issues across the web. All the information about what helped others didn't help me at all. I really appreciate your time and effort towards this project.
